In the Beginning

This painting is 36″ x 36″ x 2″ on a hand-made wooden panel with cradle. The sides can be painted black, white or charcoal depending on the buyers preference.
This piece is part of an ongoing series of work that I call “Echoes”. My concept for this series is to investigate and explore the similarities of form and structure across various forms of life and elements of nature from microscopic cellular growth to aerial and telescopic images of earth and space. The laws that govern the natural world effect every creature, plant and cell on earth, not to mention the stars and planets revolving in the celestial sphere. These forces govern the way in which life forms, patterns emerge and unexpected changes stir things up when too much equilibrium has caused stagnancy. My inspiration for this body of work has been and continues to be the exploration of the relationships that are shared between all forms of life and the synergetic connections that we share.
