Swaying Hills

This painting is 12″ x 12″ x 0.5″ on good quality back-stapled streched canvas. The sides are painted black for contrast.
This piece brings to mind the African Savannah, weaving stripes are like strips of grass, sand and stone seen through the rippling waves of mid-day heat. Nothing here seems to stay still, the hills themselves seem to sway under the hot African sun.
